Crane now based in Tasmania – Feb 09
We’re pleased to announce that Remote Camera Cranes now has a complete Jimmy Jib crane kit based in Hobart, Tasmania.
Our recent work on feature film Dying Breed and a number of locally produced TVCs has encouraged us to provide a more user friendly service for the film and TV industry in Tassie. Our crane is ready to go in Hobart, with no shipping time or freight overheads, and we’re happy to tailor a package to your budget and shoot – be it location or studio.
Give us a call or send an email if you would like more information on our Jimmy Jib in Tasmania.
The Loved Ones – Nov 08
Remote Camera Cranes supplies a crane to Ambience Entertainment for Writer/Director Sean Byrne’s teen horror feature The Loved Ones.

National Geographic 'Migrations' Series
Dec 07 - Margaret Lookout, Christmas Island National Park
National Geographic uses a Remote Camera Cranes jib to follow the Red Crabs on their annual migration journey to the sea.
Our crane moved with the crabs as they climbed over the edge and headed down the 150 ft rugged limestone cliff. This location was only accessible with a collapsible crane system like the Jimmy Jib and we tailored a lightweight flyaway kit to National Geographic’s requirements, coordinating freight to and from the Island.
The Saddle Club - Series 3
May 08 - A Remote Camera Cranes jimmy jib is hard at work on ‘The Saddle Club – Series 3’
This very popular children’s program began filming in Daylesford, Victoria back in November 07.
Tim Delaney has also supplied a full grip package for this production through the Grip Department www.gripdept.com.au
