National Geographic 'Migrations' Series

Dec 087 - Margaret Lookout, Christmas Island National Park

National Geographic uses a Remote Camera Cranes jib to follow the Red Crabs on their annual migration journey to the sea.

Our crane moved with the crabs as they climbed over the edge and headed down the 150 ft rugged limestone cliff. This location was only accessible with a collapsible crane system like the Jimmy Jib and we tailored a lightweight flyaway kit to National Geographic’s requirements, coordinating freight to and from the Island.
